Students Ratings understands that every
 one at high school needs to get great grades
 to become successful and place that first job.
 Parents encourage students to study and
 work hard to get the required results for that
 very reason; at the end of the day who does
 not want to become successful?

 Why are parents so concerned? They used
 to make mistakes when they were young,
 and as they matured later on in life and took
 on more responsibilities they soon under-
stood that for those who don't make the effort, eventually they would pay the price. 

Adults and smart teenagers soon realize one gets out exactly what is put in from studies. Students learn values from previous experiences based on the values picked up from parents, own beliefs, and experiences around them.

Parents want teens to aim for peak performance, but it doesn't always happen. The message isn't always managed properly, for lack of communication skills to help enable them to maximize gains to education and the learning curve.

Some students make up their own mind to study and take advantage of all the resources at their disposal; that's great, but many lay back, or lack the ability to negotiate, or  panic from low self-esteem, or aren't sure how to write a covering letter when filling out an applicatation form, or they are unprepared for an interview.... maybe they need advice on how to put on a tie! 

The fact remains that the educational system mainly concentrates on teaching academic subjects, and not so much is dedicated to self development. That is up to individual characteristics. Another way to put it is self growth brings out leadership qualities and all impressive communication skills desirable to get to the top!
